Exe View

Exe View is attached to a house on a no-through road about a mile from Dawlish town centre, laid out upside down with the bedroom downstairs and living space above. A shared drive leads into a hall, off which is the double bedroom with its own en-suite shower room, shower, WC and basin.

Upstairs, a sitting room with a dining table opens onto a balcony shared with the owners, with views over the town and the coast and a table and chairs for eating outside. A separate WC with a basin is also on the first floor, next to a neat, well-equipped kitchen.

The kitchen has a fridge-freezer and microwave, and the sitting room has a TV with DVD player and WiFi. Central heating covers the cottage, with fuel and power included in the rent. Downstairs, a suntrap seating area sits within the garden for guests to use.

Off-road parking is provided for one car. A cliff path leads in five minutes to the Coast Path and the rock-pool beaches at Boat Cove and Coryton Cove, and Dawlish town centre, with its shops and sandy beach, is about half a mile away on foot. No pets are allowed and the property is no smoking.

Dawlish Warren National Nature Reserve is within walking distance along the seafront, and the Exe Estuary Trail gives an easy cycle route to Exeter. Exeter, Torquay and Dartmoor are all within reach for day trips.
