Egret

Egret occupies the second floor of a small holiday development in Kingsteignton, a town at the head of the Teign Estuary. It sleeps 4 and, like the other apartments here, has its own external entrance and a dedicated reception for key collection rather than a key box.

The open-plan living space holds the kitchen, dining table and a sitting area, with a second TV for evenings in. The kitchen has an oven, hob, microwave, fridge, kettle and toaster, so meals are easy to put together after a day out.

Two bedrooms sit off this space. The super-king-size room, which converts to twins on request, has its own TV and an en-suite bathroom with a bath, an overhead shower, a basin and a WC. The second is a twin that can also be made up as a super-king, with a further bathroom nearby for guests staying in it. Fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included in the rent, and the development's leisure club, restaurant, gym, sauna and pool are closed for maintenance until January 2027.

Off-road parking is provided, and Egret takes one well-behaved pet for an extra charge on arrival. A minimum stay of two nights applies, and smoking is not allowed on the property. The nearest shop is about 0.6 miles away, the pub around 0.7 miles, and Newton Abbot sits roughly 1.9 miles down the road.
