Eddystone

Eddystone stands above Hope Cove, reached by steps from the parking area and a further steep step at the front door, so it suits guests comfortable with stairs. Once inside, a private decked terrace looks out over the cove, a good spot for evening meals when the weather holds. The house sleeps 8 across four bedrooms and two bathrooms, one of each on the ground floor.

The ground floor holds a single bedroom with a pull-out trundle bed, useful for a child, plus a bathroom, kitchen, utility room, dining room and sitting room. The utility room has a washing machine, tumble dryer and dishwasher alongside a second fridge. Upstairs are three more bedrooms: a king-size, a twin and a bunk room, sharing a second bathroom, and a second-floor sitting room with large windows looking over Hope Cove.

The kitchen is fitted with an electric oven and hob, microwave and fridge/freezer, and the dining table seats 8 for family meals. Heating runs on oil, with fuel and power included in the rent, and a TV with Freeview and WiFi cover evenings in. A highchair and travel cot are available on request, and the rear garden has decking and furniture for outdoor time.

Eddystone takes one well-behaved dog. Off-road parking is provided for up to 3 cars, and the shop, pub and beach are all around 0.1 miles away. Smoking is not permitted inside, and the steps and steep entrance step are worth planning around if anyone in your group has limited mobility.
