Denning Cottage

Denning Cottage sits in a private courtyard in the heart of Dartmouth, set back from the town's main streets, spread over three floors with an exposed stone feature wall in the living room. The cottage sleeps 8 across four bedrooms and three bathrooms, and takes up to two well-behaved dogs.

Two king-size bedrooms sit on the lower floors, one with an en-suite freestanding bath and walk-in shower, the other with an en-suite walk-in shower; a second-floor double and a second-floor twin share a shower room reached from the second-floor landing. A ground-floor cloakroom adds a fourth WC.

The kitchen opens onto a living/dining room with a real oak floor and underfloor heating, plus two of the six Smart TVs in the cottage; electric recliners in the settee add to the comfort. Central heating runs through the property, and WiFi, a DAB speaker and a shelf of books and games cover quieter evenings. Fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the rent.

A parking permit lets guests use Mayors Avenue car park outside its restricted daytime hours from late May to early September, or the Park and Ride car park at any time. Two well-behaved dogs are welcome but not permitted upstairs, the shop and pub are 0.1 miles away and the beach 3.2 miles, and the cottage is no smoking.
