Clovelly Lakes Wren Lodge Ten

This single-storey lodge sits within a working fishing complex of five lakes near Higher Clovelly, close to Bideford. It suits two people sharing the one double bedroom, which opens directly from the kitchen and has its own en-suite shower room with WC. Access to the lodge is via three steps or a ramp.

Inside, the open-plan lounge, kitchen and diner has an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge with ice compartment and a dishwasher. The lounge has a Smart TV and DVD player, and electric heaters provide warmth. A raised private balcony reached by the same steps or ramp gives space for outdoor dining, with a lawn area and brick-built BBQ just below.

Guests can fish the site's five lakes free of charge, and a beach, gastro pub and well-stocked village shop are each about two miles away. Wi-Fi is provided via Starlink satellite connection on site, and there is an on-site laundry room for guest use. A cot and highchair can be requested in advance for younger visitors.

Parking is ample and on the site itself, and shared electric vehicle charging (7kW) is available at reception for an additional cost payable directly to the owner. Two dogs are welcome, though additional charges may apply. Arrival is from 3pm and departure before 10am.
