Clovelly Lakes Kingfisher Lodge Five

This single-storey lodge sits at the water's edge on a small site near Higher Clovelly, close to Bideford and within reach of the North Devon coast. Two steps lead up to a gated veranda and a glass porch, useful for storing coats and boots before heading into the open-plan lounge, kitchen and dining area.

The kitchen is equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, small freezer and dishwasher, while the lounge has a log-effect electric fire and a Smart TV with DVD player for quieter evenings. Two bedrooms lead off the lounge, one double and one bunk room, served by a single shower room with WC. The property sleeps four.

Outside, a raised private balcony reached via two steps overlooks the lake, and a grassy area to the side suits an evening barbecue with the charcoal grill provided. Guests can fish across the site's five lakes at no extra charge, and off-road parking is available on site. A shared on-site laundry room is available for guest use, and Starlink satellite Wi-Fi covers the grounds. Shared EV charging is available near reception at an additional cost payable directly to the owner.

A cot and highchair can be requested ahead of arrival, and two dogs are permitted with an additional charge. Arrival is from 3pm and departure by 10am.
