Clovelly Lakes Grebe Lodge Fourteen

This single-storey lodge sits at the edge of one of five stocked lakes in rural North Devon, near Higher Clovelly. The setting is aimed at anglers, with complimentary family-friendly fishing available across the five lakes, and it works equally well for a small family or couples travelling together.

Accommodation is arranged on one level, with an open-plan lounge, kitchen and dining area at its centre. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher, while the lounge offers corner seating and a smart TV with DVD player. The double bedroom and bunk room lead off this space, and a single shower room with WC serves both.

A raised private balcony looks out over the lake and is accessed via double doors, with three steps and a ramp on the approach to the lodge itself. Outside, there is ample off-road parking on site and a charcoal barbecue available for guest use. Starlink satellite wifi is provided on site, and a shared EV charging point (7kW) is available at reception, with the cost payable directly to the owner.

A cot and highchair can be requested ahead of arrival, and an on-site laundry room is available for guests. Two dogs are welcome, though additional charges may apply. Check-in runs from 3pm, with departure required by 10am.
