Clarence Grey House

Clarence Grey House is a restored Grade II listed Victorian villa on a conservation street in Torquay, a short walk from the harbour and beaches. Parking is available for up to four cars, and check-in is from 4pm.

The house sleeps 8 across four bedrooms: a super-king-size room, two king-size rooms and a twin room with its own en-suite shower, basin and WC. A family bathroom with bath, basin and WC and a separate ground-floor shower room serve the rest of the house, and a first-floor cloakroom has a basin, heated towel rail and WC.

Downstairs, the entrance hall has a baby grand piano and an open fire, the sitting room holds three sofas with an electric fire and TV, and the kitchen is built around an AGA range cooker with a dishwasher and washing machine. The dining room seats the whole group, and central heating with electric fires keeps the house warm through the year.

Outside, a garden has a terrace, lawn and furniture for eating outdoors. No pets or smoking are allowed, a minimum stay of three nights applies, and as a period property with a rural setting, the occasional spider or cobweb can reappear between cleans. The shop is 0.3 miles away, the pub 0.7 miles and the beach 1.2 miles.
