Apartment at Morningside Hotel

The Apartment at Morningside Hotel sits above the hotel of the same name in the heart of Torquay, a penthouse reached through a narrow gated passageway from the parking area. The open-plan living space upstairs opens onto a south-facing terrace with direct sea views across Lyme Bay, and the apartment sleeps 8.

The bedrooms lead off the hallway on the entrance level: a super king-size and single family room with an en-suite shower, a king-size with en-suite shower, a double with en-suite shower, and a single room, so each of the four rooms has its own facilities bar the single. A ground-floor shower room and cloakroom sit near the entrance alongside a laundry and utility room for beach gear.

The kitchen has a gas range cooker with double ovens, an air fryer, a fridge/freezer and dishwasher, and a snug room off the living area offers a quieter spot. Gas central heating runs throughout, and a Smart TV and WiFi are provided, with a washing machine in the utility room. A travel cot, stairgate and highchair are available on request.

No pets are allowed and the apartment is no smoking, with BBQs not permitted under the fire regulations and no stag, hen or similar parties. Off-road parking is provided for 2 cars, and the entrance passage is 80cm wide, which won't suit anyone with limited mobility. A terraced garden has outdoor furniture, and the shop is 0.1 miles, the pub 0.2 miles and the beach 0.5 miles away.
