4 Bed House-Sleeps 8-Parking-Pets-MarinaSeaView

This four-bedroom house stands above Torquay, with a rooftop balcony that frames far-reaching sea views over the town. A run of steps leads up to the front door, and sloping eaves run through parts of the property, worth knowing before you book.

The house sleeps 8 across four bedrooms: two doubles with en-suite walk-in showers, a further double, and a twin, plus a family bathroom with a bath and shower over. A kitchen and separate dining room sit alongside a sitting room that opens onto the rooftop balcony, furnished with sun loungers and a picnic table.

Cooking is straightforward with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and coffee maker, and a washing machine and tumble dryer cover longer stays. Fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the rent, and a travel cot and highchair are available on request. A TV and WiFi cover the evenings in.

Off-road parking is provided for one car, with free on-street parking nearby for a second. Two well-behaved dogs are welcome, though a small charge applies, payable four weeks ahead direct to the owner. Smoking and vaping are not permitted, as they trigger the fire alarm, and the shop and pub are both about 0.2 miles away.
