This cottage sits in Appledore, with the kitchen/diner looking out over the river and a dining area seating six. The kitchen is fitted with an electric oven, gas hob, dishwasher, microwave, fridge/freezer and washing machine, and a door leads out to a patio/balcony for eating outside.

Open-tread wooden stairs drop from the kitchen to a spacious lounge with a wood burner and TV/DVD player, plus a small balcony overlooking the estuary. A short step off the lounge leads to the double bedroom with its own en-suite shower room, while a ground-floor wet room with hand-held shower and WC serves the rest of the accommodation on this level. Narrow, short-tread stairs from the dining area climb to the first floor, where a twin bedroom and a single room with a pull-out bed (bedding not supplied) share a further shower room.

Outside, the rear patio/balcony has table and chair seating and estuary views, making it a practical spot for alfresco meals. Parking is on the roadside subject to availability, with a public car park nearby as a backup. Wi-Fi is included throughout the stay.

The property sleeps five across its three bedrooms and does not accept dogs. Towels are included, and a travel cot and highchair are available for families with young children. Central heating and electric heating are both included in the stay, useful alongside the wood burner during cooler months.
