Blackberry Cottage

Blackberry Cottage sits in the South Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty near Slapton, a reverse-level holiday cottage with exposed beams, A-frames and Velux windows. The first floor holds the kitchen/diner and a sitting room with a gas flame-effect fire, while the ground floor has a twin bedroom and bathroom, with a king-size and a bunk room upstairs sharing a shower room.

The cottage sleeps 6 across three bedrooms, and there's a lockable door between the king-size and bunk rooms. Outside, guests share 1.5 acres of communal grounds with lawns, ponds, seating and a barbecue area; the ponds are unfenced, so children and pets need supervising there. A separate communal laundry and games room has a coin-operated washing machine, a tumble dryer, a pool table and a shared freezer.

LPG gas central heating runs throughout, and the kitchen has an electric oven, gas hob, microwave and fridge with an ice box. Two Smart TVs and WiFi cover evenings in. Off-road allocated parking sits around 50 yards from the cottage, with space to unload and load first.

Dogs are welcome at Blackberry Cottage (confirm how many when booking); dogs must stay on a lead on the grounds. Smoking is not permitted, and check-ins run only on a Monday or Friday. The shop is 2 miles away, the pub 1.7 miles, and Slapton Sands beach 2.5 miles.
