Beacon Boathouse South

This retreat sits on the banks of the River Dart in Dartmouth, entered on the first floor via steep external steps from the street above. The hallway leads to a shower room and a spacious kitchen fitted with wooden units and a tiled floor, with a dishwasher, electric oven and hob among the self-catering equipment provided.

Across the hall, the lounge/diner has large windows looking out over the river and a Smart TV for evenings in, along with a dining table for group meals. A door opens onto a private decked balcony, the spot for taking in the views across the water to Kingswear. This level also has an inviting twin bedroom.

Downstairs you'll find a double bedroom with its own en-suite shower room, a second twin bedroom, and a separate WC for guests to share. The layout sleeps six across three bedrooms in total, with two bathrooms between them.

Access to the property is via around fifty steep steps from street level, which are not suitable for anyone with mobility issues. A parking permit is provided for a public car park half a mile away, and the nearest shop and pub are also within half a mile. Children under twelve cannot be accommodated, and dogs are not permitted. For larger groups, the property can be booked together with a neighbouring boathouse to sleep an additional six guests.
