Beach House

This modern house stands close to Northam and Westward Ho!, with its long sandy beach around half a mile away. The property sleeps up to eight guests, made up of six adults plus two children, with one further infant accommodated using the travel cot and highchair provided.

Inside, the open-plan lounge has bi-fold doors leading onto a private patio, alongside a Smart TV and Sonos sound system. The kitchen is fitted with an electric oven, halogen induction hob, dishwasher, American-style fridge/freezer and an instant boiling water tap, and there is a separate utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer. A wood burner, supplied with a starter pack only, sits in the living space, and low, sloping ceilings on the first floor are worth noting for taller guests.

Bathroom provision comprises three rooms in total: two en-suite shower rooms attached to the ground-floor and first-floor king-size bedrooms, plus a family bathroom with bath, handheld shower attachment and WC. The bunk bedroom is intended for children only, in keeping with the stated maximum of six adults.

Outside, the garden includes patio areas, lawn and garden furniture, with a private balcony off one of the first-floor bedrooms. Private parking is available for three cars, and electric vehicle charging is provided on site. Two dogs are welcome, subject to an additional charge, and a shop and pub are within a mile. Wifi is available, and guests are asked to bring their own beach towels.
