Bantam Cottage

Bantam Cottage is a barn conversion at Little Woodford, on a smallholding just outside Ottery St Mary where guests may spot pygmy goats, sheep, pigs and chickens around the grounds. The open-plan living space has a kitchen, dining area and sitting area, and the property sleeps 4 across two bedrooms.

One bedroom is king-size and the other a zip/link twin that can be set up as a king-size on request. The bathroom has a bath with shower over, basin and WC, and there's a separate cloakroom with basin and WC. The kitchen has a convection oven, ceramic hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher, and oil central heating runs throughout. A Smart TV and WiFi cover evenings in, and a highchair and travel cot are available.

An external utility handles laundry, shared with the neighbouring Ixworth Cottage. Outside, an enclosed rear patio has a gravelled area, furniture and a barbecue, with a wild meadow behind the garden. The owner runs a small on-site shop selling jams, preserves, cured meats and honey, and a shop and pub are within a mile.

Two well-behaved dogs are welcome, and the property is no smoking. Between June and the end of September, only weekly bookings starting on a Saturday are accommodated, and designated parking is provided for 4 cars.
