Ayrmer House

Ayrmer House is the larger part of a roomy detached house in Ringmore, 350 yards from the village pub, with the owner living in an annexe and within reach of Challaborough and Bigbury-on-Sea. Sea views reach every room, and the house sleeps 6 across three bedrooms and two bathrooms.

The open-plan living space has stone walls and a wood-burning stove, with a dining table and window seats looking down the valley. Upstairs, three twin bedrooms each open onto the first-floor balcony: one links to a super king-size double, two have a washbasin, and the third has an en-suite shower room with WC and basin. A family bathroom has a bath with a shower over it.

The kitchen is fitted with a microwave, fridge, fridge-freezer, tumble dryer, washing machine and dishwasher, and central heating runs alongside the wood-burning stove. A TV with DVD, WiFi and a landline phone cover evenings in, and a highchair is available on request. Outside, a private terrace has a barbecue and the same coastal views.

Off-road parking is provided for four cars, though charging an electric car is not permitted at the property. Ayrmer House does not accept pets and is no smoking throughout, and any booking between 1 May and the end of September must start on a Saturday.
