12 Burgh Island Causeway is a first-floor apartment in Bigbury-on-Sea, one of a block close to Challaborough nearby. Big glass doors open from the open-plan living space onto a good sized balcony, with views south and west over the sea.

The apartment sleeps 4 in two en-suite bedrooms at the rear of the flat, away from the view: a king-size double with an en-suite bath and shower over, and a twin with an en-suite shower. The open-plan living area at the front has an oak floor, good paintings on the walls, a dining space, a fitted kitchen and sofas facing the smart TV.

Guests get shared use of the building's leisure facilities, open from 10am daily except Christmas Day: an indoor swimming pool, a spa pool, a well-equipped gym and a sauna, though under-14s aren't permitted in the gym or sauna. There are changing rooms and a shower by the pool. There's also a shared club restaurant and bar within the building, serving food throughout the day and open 10am to 9pm in the high season with reservations recommended at other times; meals can also be taken back to the apartment.

One car can park in a reserved off-road space, and a travel cot and highchair are available on request. No pets are allowed and the apartment is no smoking throughout. The shop is 0.8 miles away and the pub 0.2 miles, with Bigbury-on-Sea's beach close by.
