17 Burgh Island Causeway

17 Burgh Island Causeway is a first-floor corner apartment in Bigbury-on-Sea, with Challaborough along the coast nearby. The wrap-around balcony is enclosed with seating and looks out over the causeway to Burgh Island, with a west-facing aspect for evening light. Inside, the open-plan living space has an oak floor, a sofa bed and a dining area, and both bedrooms face the sea.

The apartment sleeps 5 across two en-suite bedrooms: a family room with a double bed and a single divan, plus an en-suite bath, and a twin room with an en-suite shower. Electric central heating runs throughout, and the kitchen has an electric oven and hob, microwave, Nespresso machine, fridge freezer and a washer-dryer alongside a dishwasher. A TV with Sky Sports, a Blu-ray DVD player and an Xbox cover evenings in, and WiFi is included. Power, bed linen and towels are all included in the rent.

Off-road parking is provided in a reserved space for two cars. A travel cot and highchair are available on request, and no pets are accepted; smoking is not permitted. A shop and pub are close by.

Guests can use the development's shared indoor swimming pool and gym, open from 10am, though for the foreseeable future the Leisure Club, including the pool, is closed on Mondays. Children under 14 are not permitted in the gym and the sauna is currently out of use. A restaurant and bar are also on site, with reduced opening hours outside the high season.
