Acorn Lodge

Acorn Lodge sits on Finlakes Holiday Park, near Chudleigh in the Teignbridge district of Devon. The open-plan living space brings together the kitchen, dining area and sitting area, with a Smart TV and a dining table that seats six. The kitchen has an electric oven, gas hob, air fryer, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher.

Three bedrooms sleep 6: a ground-floor twin next to a shower room with a walk-in shower, and a double and a twin upstairs sharing a bathroom with a bath and heated towel rail. Outside, an enclosed decking area has furniture and a hot tub, and the lodge also has its own private sauna, a rare extra for a self-catering stay.

Private off-road parking is provided for one car. WiFi and a Smart TV cover evenings in, and gas central heating runs through the property. A highchair and travel cot are available on request for younger guests travelling with the group.

The wider park has fishing lakes, swimming pools, a gym, steam room, spa, adventure park, horse riding, tennis courts and a restaurant, though the layout is not advised for anyone with mobility difficulties. Acorn Lodge does not accept pets, and smoking is not permitted. The shop is 2 miles away, the pub 1.7 miles, and a lake 0.4 miles. A starter pack of cleaning products is provided, though toiletries are not.
