Thornbury

Thornbury sits near the town of Holsworthy in North Devon, and Lower Manor Lodge offers a self-contained stay here, attached to the owner’s home but with its own private parking and secluded garden. The lodge sleeps six across three bedrooms, one super-king and two twins convertible to king-size, served by a single family bathroom with a shower over bath.

Inside, the lounge is the focal point, with floor-to-ceiling windows, exposed beams and a woodburner supplied with a first basket of logs, plus French doors opening onto an enclosed decking area. The fitted kitchen includes an electric range cooker, gas hob, dishwasher and washing machine. Guests also have access to 3.5 acres of grounds with a lawn, children’s play equipment, woodland, a stream and a pond, along with space for up to five well-behaved dogs, kept on the ground floor and under control outdoors given nearby livestock.
