Beech Barn

Beech Barn is a converted barn near Thornbury, close to Holsworthy in North Devon, and one of three properties sharing the same site. It sleeps four across two bedrooms, a double and a twin, with a single family bathroom fitted with a shower over bath and WC. Exposed beams throughout the lounge/diner give the space plenty of character, alongside a woodburner (the first basket of logs is provided free) and a Smart TV.

The kitchen is well equipped for those who prefer to cook in rather than travel out, with an oven, hob, washer/dryer, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and microwave. Water is supplied privately from a spring on site. A highchair is available for younger visitors, and the bedroom and bathroom are located on the ground floor.

Outside there is a private enclosed garden that catches the sun for much of the day, ideal for dogs to roam off-lead. Up to four dogs are welcome, though additional charges may apply, and beyond the garden they must be kept on a lead at all times. This is because the site is a working farm with resident cats, sheep and chickens, and a separate exercise field is set aside specifically for visiting dogs.

Parking is available on site with ample space for guests' vehicles, and internet access is provided. The nearest beach is around 10 miles away, with a pub and shop roughly 2 miles from the property. Arrival is from 4pm and departure is required by 10am. Note that the property is decorated for Christmas during the festive season.
