Dairy Cottage

Dairy Cottage is a converted barn forming part of a small complex of three properties in the countryside near Thornbury, close to Holsworthy in North Devon. It has been renovated to a high standard and suits two guests looking for a quiet countryside base, with a pub and shop around two miles away.

The open-plan lounge, kitchen and diner has vaulted beamed ceilings, a Smart TV and a wood burner, with the first basket of logs provided. The dining table seats two, and the kitchen is fitted with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. The single king-size bedroom is on the ground floor, and the bathroom has a shower over bath along with a WC.

Outside, guests have an enclosed garden or patio area for sitting out and eating al fresco, with seating overlooking a pond. The property draws its water from a private spring supply, and parking is available on site. Wifi is provided for those who need to stay connected during their stay.

Up to three dogs can be accommodated, with additional charges applying, and they benefit from their own designated exercise field. As the site is a working farm with resident cats, sheep and chickens, dogs must be kept on a lead unless within the enclosed garden or exercise field. A travel cot and highchair are available on request, and the cottage is decorated for Christmas during the festive season.
