Lower Manor Lodge

Lower Manor Lodge stands attached to the owner's home in Thornbury, near Holsworthy, and comes with its own private parking and a secluded garden set apart from the main house. The lodge sleeps six across three bedrooms: a super-king zip-and-link room and two further zip-and-link king-size rooms that can be converted to twins if requested in advance. One family bathroom serves the property, fitted with a shower over bath and WC.

The open-plan lounge has floor-to-ceiling windows, exposed beams and a wood burner, with the first bag of logs provided. French doors lead out to an enclosed decking area with garden furniture. A Smart TV with Sky Q package is in the lounge, and a second Smart TV is in the main bedroom. The fitted kitchen is equipped for cooking at home, with an electric range cooker, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, drinks fridge, coffee machine, dishwasher and washing machine.

Beyond the decking, guests have access to a large lawn with children's play equipment, along with woodland, a stream and a pond forming part of the wider grounds. Livestock kept on the land are penned during guest stays, allowing dogs to be exercised off the lead in the garden, though inside the house dogs must be kept to the ground floor and under control outdoors. Wi-Fi is included throughout, and central heating plus underfloor heating on the ground floor are also part of the tariff.

Private off-road parking is available for three cars. A travel cot and highchair can be provided for younger guests, making the lodge workable for family groups as well as those travelling with dogs. Check-in runs from 4pm, with departure required by 10am, and guests should note the nearest pub and shops sit a few miles from the property.
