Sidbury
Rural Devon stays in the Sid Valley countryside
Sweetcombe Roost is a two-bedroom barn conversion sleeping four, with a layout that makes good use of its converted origins. Floor-to-ceiling windows and glass double doors fill the open-plan kitchen and dining area with natural light, while a separate lounge with a wood burner provides a warm retreat after a day outdoors. Upstairs are a double bedroom and a twin room with a zip-and-link configuration available as a super-king on request, served by a shower room with WC. A ground-floor bathroom with bath and WC is accessible from the utility room, which also functions as a boot room with its own outside entrance.
The kitchen is well equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, and a countertop freezer in the utility room alongside a washing machine. Outside, an enclosed rear garden has furniture and a BBQ firepit, and there is allocated parking for two cars. Up to three dogs are welcome, making this a practical choice for pet-owning households. Wi-Fi runs throughout, and the property is decorated for Christmas for winter visits.
