Sweetcombe Roost

This barn conversion near Sidbury sits in the Sid Valley countryside within reach of the Jurassic Coast. The Sidmouth seafront is around 5 miles away, and a shop and pub are 1.5 miles from the property. Both bedrooms are on the first floor: a double and a twin with zip-and-link beds that can be made up as a super-king on request. A shower room with WC is also on the first floor. On the ground floor, the utility room connects to a separate bathroom with bath and WC.

The ground floor centres on a spacious open-plan kitchen and dining area with floor-to-ceiling windows and glass doors. An adjoining lounge holds a wood burner, and the first basket of logs is included. The kitchen is fitted with an electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher and a fridge with ice compartment. The utility room off the kitchen houses a washing machine, provides external access and doubles as storage for muddy boots and wet kit.

Outside, the enclosed rear garden has furniture and a BBQ/firepit. Two allocated parking spaces are available within the grounds. Wi-Fi covers the whole property, and a smart TV with DVD player is available indoors.

Families are well catered for, with a travel cot and highchair on hand. Up to three dogs are welcome, though additional charges may apply. Arrival is from 14:30 and departure before 10:00.
