Dragon Cottage

Dragon Cottage is a converted barn in Musbury, near Axminster. It sleeps 4 across two bedrooms: a king-size room on the ground floor and a twin room upstairs with a casement window, reached by stairs that are narrow and steep. A ground-floor bathroom has a bath and a separate walk-in shower, so there's no need to climb the stairs first thing.

The kitchen/diner is fitted for home cooking, and the living room has a Smart TV and a woodburning stove for cooler evenings. A separate garden room holds a microwave and offers a further spot to sit, looking out over the grounds. Underfloor heating covers the cottage, and WiFi is included, along with fuel, power, a stove starter pack, bed linen and towels in the rent.

The enclosed garden has a lawn, patio and furniture for eating outside, and off-road parking is provided for 3 cars, useful for a group arriving in more than one vehicle. The cottage backs onto fields that may hold livestock, so pets need supervising in the garden rather than left to roam.

Two well-behaved dogs are welcome, and the cottage is not suitable for children under 5. Smoking is not permitted, and the shop and pub are both around 0.6 miles away, close enough to reach without needing the car.
