Ashprington
South Devon countryside glamping for couples
Ashprington lies within the South Devon National Landscape, and the accommodation available here reflects that rural setting. Molly’s View is a shepherd’s hut sleeping two, reached via a roughly 100-metre walk up a grassy incline from the private car park. The hut itself contains a double bed, wood burner and comfortable armchairs, while a separate outbuilding houses a dual gas hob, kettle and cool box for preparing meals. Shower, sink and a chemical WC occupy a third area, with the whole site gated and set within a working meadow home to hens, goats and two miniature donkeys.
There is no television or Wi-Fi at Molly’s View, making it a practical choice for couples wanting a genuine break from screens. A decked area with outdoor dining furniture and a gas BBQ sits outside the hut, and a local pub is less than half a mile away. One well-behaved dog is welcome, subject to the site’s animal welfare rules around leads and gates.
