Woodstone Barn

Woodstone Barn is the larger of two barn conversions on a working farm at Whitchurch, close to Tavistock, with far-reaching views towards Dartmoor National Park from a slope above the West Devon Way. The open-plan living area has tall vaulted ceilings, a kitchen and a dining area large enough for the whole group.

Upstairs, a king-size double and a twin room with a Velux window sit alongside a further room with a double sofa bed, a corner sofa and its own view of the garden. A ground-floor king-size double and a ground-floor wet room add a fourth bedroom, so the barn sleeps 8 across two bathrooms.

A woodburner warms both floors, and double doors lead from the first floor out to a private patio with space for a barbecue. Fuel, power and a starter pack for the woodburner are included in the rent. The enclosed garden has a play area with a swing and trampoline, and a separate rustic barn holds a pool table, football table and table tennis.

Off-road parking is provided for 4 cars, and covered storage is available for bikes, surfboards and canoes. A travel cot, highchair and a foldaway bed for an older child are available on request. The property is reached along a farm track, and dogs must be kept on a lead because of livestock on site.

One well-behaved dog is welcome, and an additional pet may be considered for an extra charge. Smoking is not permitted.
