Maple Cottage

Maple Cottage is a lodge near Tavistock, set within Langstone Manor Holiday Park on the edge of Dartmoor National Park, about 3.3 miles from the nearest shop. The bright, updated interior sleeps six across three bedrooms, with a sitting room built around a stone fireplace housing an electric fire, and two sofas plus an armchair for gathering after a day out.

A dining room sits alongside the sitting room for shared meals or planning the next day's adventures, and the well-equipped kitchen covers self-catered stays. Upstairs, the king-size, double and twin bedrooms share a family bathroom, with a separate cloakroom adding extra convenience on the first floor.

Gas central heating runs throughout, and the kitchen has an electric oven, ceramic hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. A Smart TV, DVD player and WiFi are provided, though WiFi carries a small weekly charge per device, and both fuel and power, plus bed linen and towels, are included in the rent.

Off-road parking is provided for two cars, and the enclosed garden combines a lawn and patio with furniture for outdoor drinks. Two well-behaved pets are welcome, though should not be left unattended in the lodge, and smoking is not permitted. The holiday park itself has an on-site restaurant, shop, bar and children's playground, and the property does not accept bookings from workers or contractors.
