Whitestone Farm

Whitestone Farm sits near Lee, close to Lee Bay and within a mile of the beach and a village pub. It sleeps six across three bedrooms, making it suited to families or groups travelling together, with a layout that keeps one bedroom on the ground floor.

The open-plan lounge and diner has floor-to-ceiling windows and a wood burner, with a first basket of logs supplied. The kitchen includes an electric oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and a coffee machine, while a separate utility room holds the washing machine and tumble dryer. A porch offers space for wet coats and boots after a day on the coast path.

Downstairs, a games room has a table tennis table and dartboard, useful for wet-weather days or evening entertainment. The balcony is furnished with a charcoal barbecue and patio seating, looking out over the surrounding countryside. Grassy areas around the cottage give children and dogs room to roam, and up to four dogs can be accommodated, with additional charges applying.

Practical points worth noting before booking: the steps up to the property from the driveway are steep, so this may not suit everyone. Private parking is provided for two cars, wifi is available throughout, and a travel cot and highchair can be requested for younger guests. Shops are around 2.5 miles away, with a pub and beach closer at hand.
