Lincombe Barn

Lincombe Barn is a three-bedroom barn conversion on a historic estate in Lee, sleeping up to six guests across a king-size, a double and a twin bedroom. High vaulted ceilings, exposed beams and slate flooring give the interior real character, and underfloor heating runs throughout. The king-size room has an en-suite shower room and views over the garden; the double benefits from remote-operated Velux windows; and the first-floor family bathroom provides a bath and a separate shower cubicle. A WC in the ground-floor utility room adds further convenience.

The living room centres on a wood burner set in a red brick inglenook, with a second wood burner also in the property. The large kitchen-diner is fitted with a Belling range oven, induction hob, hot plate and separate fridge and freezer; bifold doors open directly onto the raised decked terrace, and a breakfast bar offers a more informal option. The utility room houses a washing machine and tumble dryer. A highchair and stairgates are available; guests needing a travel cot should bring their own.

Outside, a private raised terrace adjoins the kitchen, with shared access to a lawn garden and pond beyond. The pond is uncovered, so children must be supervised at all times. One on-street parking space sits at the front of the barn, with additional private parking available inside the gate. Two dogs are welcome, though additional charges may apply.

Lee Bay, roughly a mile away, is a sheltered cove where low tide uncovers rock pools and stretches of sand, with a pub and a shop both within a mile and a half. Lincombe Manor sits on the same estate and can be booked alongside the barn for larger parties.
