Whitcombe Cottage

Whitcombe Cottage has been converted from a barn across a courtyard from the main farmhouse, near Honiton. It sleeps 4 across two bedrooms, and can be booked together with the neighbouring Swallows Cottage for larger groups.

The ground-floor open-plan living space is built around a cosy, fuel-efficient wood burner, with a well-equipped kitchen for preparing meals, a dining area and French windows opening onto a sunny patio. There's also a wet-room shower room on the ground floor, in addition to the bathroom upstairs.

Upstairs, the two bedrooms, a king-size double and a twin, share a family bathroom. The living space and bedrooms both look out to the views towards Dumpdon Hill, and a small garden with flowers and lawn shares the same peaceful outlook.

Outside, there's outdoor furniture and a barbecue on the patio, and a cot and highchair are available on request. Off-road parking is provided for up to 2 cars, and two well-behaved dogs are welcome.

The cottage is no smoking throughout, stag and hen parties are not accepted, and arrivals are from after 5pm with departure by 9am. Bookings starting on a day other than the standard Friday changeover need to be confirmed with the owner in advance.
