Otter Valley Farmhouse

Otter Valley Farmhouse sits in the Blackdown Hills National Landscape near Beacon, roughly 4 miles from Honiton. The 500-year-old building retains its original beams and a wood burner with logs provided, and the large oak dining table makes it practical for a group of up to eight. The kitchen is fully equipped with an AGA, electric oven and hob, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, fridge-freezer and microwave.

Four bedrooms spread across two floors: a king-size room upstairs with its own TV and access to a shower room with WC, and on the right-hand side of the stairs a double and two twin rooms sharing a family bathroom with shower over bath and WC. Off-road parking for three cars is available on site, along with a shared EV charger.

The on-site facilities are a genuine draw for families. A large shared indoor heated swimming pool and an outdoor sauna are available to guests, alongside a games room with a pool table and board games, a thatched play barn with table tennis and football, a covered play area with ride-on tractors, a wooden fort with playhouse and swings, a croquet and putting lawn, giant chess, a trampoline and a football area with goal posts. There is also an indoor play area for under-6s and on-site animal feeding. The shared gardens extend to 2 acres with open space for running around and quieter corners for sitting out, and a BBQ is provided.

The nearest pub and shop are 4 miles away, the beach is 14 miles, and the Jurassic Coast lies within 17 miles. Dogs are not accepted at this property.
