Whimbrel Cottage

Whimbrel Cottage sits on a quiet pedestrianised street just a few hundred metres from the quayside in Appledore, sleeping up to four guests. A small porch opens into a cosy sitting room with low wooden beams and an inglenook fireplace fitted with a wood burner, giving the ground floor a traditional cottage feel.

An inner hallway leads through to the kitchen/diner at the rear, equipped with a gas hob, electric oven, fridge, tabletop freezer, microwave, washing machine and a Nespresso Vertuo coffee machine. A back door opens onto a private, enclosed courtyard with patio furniture, a practical spot for outdoor dining away from the street.

Upstairs, reached via a narrow traditional cottage staircase, the king-size bedroom sits at the front of the property with a twin room to the rear. Both bedrooms share the single family bathroom, which has a shower over the bath and WC. A smart TV, DVD player and Bluetooth speaker are provided in the sitting room.

There is no vehicular access to the cottage itself; parking is available on the quayside and in public car parks within 200 metres, and a luggage trolley is kept at the property to help with the walk from the car. One dog is welcome, with additional charges possibly applying, and a travel cot, highchair and two stairgates are available for families with young children.
