Appledore Cobblestones

Appledore Cobblestones sits in a cobbled courtyard within easy walking distance of the heart of Appledore, with its narrow streets, small galleries, cafes and shops close by. This split-level cottage sleeps four across two bedrooms and suits couples or a small family looking for a base in the village itself.

Inside, the open-plan lounge, kitchen and diner is arranged over a few short level changes, with whitewashed flooring, a Smart TV and a wood burner in the lounge area (logs are not supplied). Steps lead up to the dining space and on to a well-equipped kitchen with electric oven and hob, fridge with freezer section and washing machine, plus bi-folding doors opening onto the courtyard. The family bathroom, reached down a step from the kitchen, has a shower over bath, WC and heated towel rail.

Upstairs via a steep, cottage-style staircase are the two bedrooms, a double and a bunk room, with a separate WC on the landing and stair gates provided for younger guests. Outside, a gravelled area off the kitchen has garden furniture and a barbecue, along with rear access and storage useful for bikes or surfboards. Parking is limited to the roadside, though a long stay car park is nearby.

Wi-Fi is included throughout the stay, and electric and gas central heating comes as part of the booking. One dog is welcome, though additional charges may apply. Given the internal steps and stairs, the layout is best suited to guests comfortable with level changes rather than those needing step-free access.
