Wave Crest

Wave Crest is a renovated two-bedroom cottage in Appledore, sleeping four with one dog welcome. Both bedrooms are king-size and sit on the first floor, each with its own en-suite: the front room has a shower over bath and WC, and the second has a shower room and WC. The front king can be split into twin singles if requested in advance at the time of booking. A separate WC on the ground floor adds day-to-day convenience when the cottage is full.

The ground floor centres on a sitting room with a sofa, an armchair, a Smart TV and a gas log fire for evenings in. A dining room connects the living space to a well-equipped kitchen with electric oven, electric hob, fridge-freezer, dishwasher and microwave. Doors from the dining room open onto a private patio with outdoor seating, useful for morning coffee or winding down at the end of the day.

Parking is not allocated to the property. Public pay-and-display car parks serve the village, and free roadside parking is available along the quay, subject to availability, so it is worth confirming arrangements before travelling with a car. Pubs, restaurants and shops are within 200 metres, and a beach is around two miles away.

One dog is permitted, though additional charges may apply. Check-in is from 16:00 and departure must be before 10:00. The cottage works well for couples or small families wanting a practical base in a characterful North Devon waterside village, with a range of day-trip options across the wider area.
