Watermouth Castle, Rhododendron Apartment

Rhododendron Apartment sits within the Watermouth Castle Estate at Berrynarbor, spread across the first and second floors with commanding sea views across Watermouth Cove from the grounds. It sleeps 6 across three bedrooms and two bathrooms.

The double bedroom on the first floor has its own en-suite walk-in shower room, while two twin rooms with four-poster beds occupy the second floor, sharing a family bathroom with a bath and shower over. The kitchen is fitted with an electric oven and hob, and there's a separate living and dining room with a TV. A coin-operated washing machine and tumble dryer are in the shared external utility room rather than inside the apartment. Off-road private parking is provided for 1 car, with an additional free car park nearby.

Guests get free entry to the on-site Watermouth Castle Family Theme Park and use of the estate's seasonal indoor heated pool, open 8.30am to 5pm and measuring 10m by 4m. A shared patio with garden furniture opens onto the 50-acre grounds, and a cot and highchair are available on request. There is a lake and pond within the grounds, so keep an eye on children and pets near the water.

Two well-behaved dogs are welcome. Smoking is not permitted inside, and the apartment does not accept one-night bookings. The shop is 1.7 miles away, the pub 0.8 miles and the beach 0.5 miles.
