Watermouth Castle, Clock Tower Apartment

Clock Tower Apartment is a duplex apartment set over two floors within the grounds of Watermouth Castle, near Berrynarbor. It sleeps 6 and has sea views from the apartment; the estate's steep stairs are worth noting, and music from an antique organ can sometimes be heard between 10am and 3pm.

Upstairs, a four-poster double bedroom has its own en-suite shower room, basin and WC, and two twin bedrooms, one a small four-poster, share a Jack-and-Jill bathroom, useful for children or friends travelling together. A Z-bed can be added for an extra child on request.

The open-plan living space has an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, kettle and toaster, plus a TV and WiFi. A shared utility area has a coin-operated washing machine and tumble dryer. Cot and highchairs are available on request, and guests get free entry to the Watermouth Castle theme park and use of the shared indoor heated swimming pool and sun lounge.

Outside, there is private off-road parking for one car, with additional free parking nearby, an enclosed rear courtyard with furniture, and a shared patio with garden furniture, a barbecue and access to the estate's 50-acre grounds, where a lake and pond need watching with children. No pets are allowed, smoking is not permitted, and the property does not accept 1-night bookings. The shop is 1.7 miles away, the pub 0.8 miles and the beach 0.5 miles.
