Forestview

Forestview is one of nine single-level cottages set within an 18-acre working farm near Berrynarbor, with sheep and cattle grazing the surrounding meadows and resident donkeys and a pony that guests are welcome to meet. A single step leads into the cottage, where the lounge/diner sits to one side with a large sofa, TV and DVD player.

The kitchen is fully equipped with an electric cooker and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. Off the kitchen are two further bedrooms: a double with en-suite shower room and WC, and a bunk room, while the third double sits beside the lounge. A separate family bathroom with bath and WC completes the accommodation, which sleeps up to six.

Outside there is a private gravelled and lawned area with a picnic table and charcoal barbecue, plus a further lawn with outdoor seating shared with the other cottages on the complex. Shared facilities include an indoor heated swimming pool open from 9am to 6pm with a sunken hot tub available year-round, and a sauna offered during the off-peak season only, along with changing and shower facilities. An enclosed outdoor play area has a swing basket, trampoline and baby swing, and an indoor games barn offers table tennis, pool and table football.

Off-road parking is provided for three cars, and internet access is available. Two dogs are welcome, with additional charges applying. A travel cot and highchair can be provided on request, making this a practical base for families visiting North Devon.
