Walnut Cottage

Walnut Cottage is a reverse-level cottage on Twelve Oaks Farm on the outskirts of Teigngrace, near Newton Abbot. All three bedrooms sit on the ground floor, with the open-plan living space upstairs, and the cottage sleeps 6 with use of a shared, heated outdoor pool open 8am to 8pm from May to September.

The ground-floor king-size bedroom has its own en-suite of a walk-in shower, basin and WC, while two twin bedrooms share a ground-floor wet room with a bath, separate shower, basin and WC; a first-floor cloakroom serves the living area. Upstairs, the open-plan living room combines a kitchen, dining area and sitting area with leather sofas, plus a utility room, all under underfloor heating.

The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and washing machine, and the living area has a TV with DVD player, iPod dock and WiFi. Your own courtyard garden has a table and chairs for sitting out in the afternoon sun. EV charging is available on site, payable at reception.

One well-behaved dog is welcome for an extra charge, and cats are not permitted. Off-road parking covers two cars, and a travel cot and highchair are available by request. Arrivals between 19 July and 30 August are on Fridays only, and Sunday changeovers cannot be accommodated. A shop and fishing lake are on site, with a pub 1.9 miles away.
