Alder Lodge

Alder Lodge sits at Twelve Oaks Farm in Teigngrace, a few miles from Newton Abbot, a single-storey lodge sleeping 4. A children's play park sits right next to the property, useful for families with younger ones.

The double bedroom has its own en-suite shower room, basin and WC, and the twin room shares a second bathroom with a bath and shower over. The open-plan living room brings together a sitting area, dining space with breakfast bar, and a kitchen fitted with an electric oven, gas hob, microwave and dishwasher.

Private decking wraps around the lodge, furnished with outdoor seating and a BBQ, a good spot for meals outside. The farm's shared amenities include an outdoor heated swimming pool, open 8am to 8pm from May to September, and an on-site dog run. Off-road parking covers two cars, and a dedicated EV charging point is available on site, payable at reception.

Alder Lodge takes one well-behaved dog for a charge; cats are not accepted. Fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included in the rent, and the lodge is no smoking throughout. A travel cot and highchair can be requested, a shop and fishing lake sit on the farm, the nearest pub is around 1.7 miles away, arrivals between 19 July and 30 August are Saturday only, and the lodge cannot accommodate a Sunday changeover.
