Under Oak Pod

Under Oak Pod is a single-storey glamping pod on a working farm near Totnes, with South Hams countryside views and livestock grazing nearby. A decked area at the front holds a hot tub, a dining table and a fire pit with extra seating. The pod sleeps a maximum of 3 guests, with capacity capped at 2 adults and one child under 12, or 1 adult and 2 children; it does not suit 3 adults.

Inside, the studio layout has a king-size bed made up with natural fibres, positioned for a view of the oak tree outside, plus a sofa bed suitable for a child under 12. The kitchen area has a 2-ring induction hob, a microwave combi oven grill and a fridge with a freezer compartment, and the shower room has a walk-in shower, a basin and a WC.

Electric underfloor heating covers the pod, with fuel and power included in the rent. Off-road parking is provided for 2 cars, right by the pod itself.

One well-behaved dog is welcome, and dogs must stay on a lead at all times on site; an enclosed dog exercise paddock is provided given the livestock on the working farm. Only dogs are accepted, no other pets. Smoking is not permitted, and bookings over Christmas and New Year run for 7 nights only. The shop is 2.6 miles away, the pub 1.3 miles and the river 0.9 miles.
