Dairy Cottage

Dairy Cottage sits in the hamlet of Bullhornstone, within Dartmoor National Park and around 2 miles from South Brent, one of two cottages on a working farm. A few steps lead up from the front door to an open-plan kitchen, dining and sitting area, fitted with an electric oven and hob and a dishwasher for washing up, framed by large glass windows onto the countryside.

Carpeted stairs climb from the sitting area to the single bedroom, which holds a small double bed and a single bed, useful for guests who want the extra room to stretch out. The room has a bespoke stained-glass window and rustic beams. An en-suite cloakroom with a basin and WC sits off the bedroom, while the main bathroom, with a bath and both a hand-held and a walk-in shower, is on the ground floor.

A travel cot, highchair and stairgate are available on request, making the cottage a workable base for a couple travelling with a young child. Off-road parking is provided for 2 cars, and the sitting area has a TV, DVD player and a selection of books alongside WiFi. Heating is oil-fired, with fuel and power included in the rent.

Dairy Cottage does not accept pets. It sleeps two guests in total, with the single bed there for flexible sleeping arrangements rather than a third guest. The cottage can also be booked together with the neighbouring Swallow Cottage for a larger group.
