Trac Tor

Trac Tor is a single-storey pod set in a sheltered wooded valley within Langstone Manor Holiday Park, close to Tavistock on the edge of Dartmoor National Park. Established greenery surrounds the pitch. The wood-panelled, open-plan studio sleeps 2 around a double bed, dining area and sitting space, and is warmed by underfloor heating.

There's no en-suite bathroom: a cloakroom has a basin, heated towel rail and WC, and a communal shower block is a short walk away. A microwave and fridge cover light meals and refreshments, and a TV is provided. Guests bring their own cutlery, crockery and cooking equipment, plus their own towels and tea towels, while bed linen, fuel and power are included in the rent.

Outside, the patio has furniture and a built-in barbecue for afternoons and evenings in the fresh air. Parking is on site, and WiFi is available at an extra cost. The holiday park has a restaurant in the manor house, a bar, a shop and a children's playground, plus fresh baguettes, croissants and pains au chocolat that can be ordered for next-day delivery.

One well-behaved dog is welcome at Trac Tor, as long as it isn't left unattended in the pod. Smoking is not permitted. The nearest shop is 3.1 miles away and the nearest pub 2.4 miles, with Tavistock itself a short drive further on.
