Dinger Tor

Dinger Tor is a single-storey pod set in a wooded valley within Langstone Manor Holiday Park, close to Tavistock on the edge of Dartmoor National Park. Established trees and traditional hedging surround the pitch. The wood-panelled, open-plan studio sleeps 2 around a double bed, dining area and sitting space, and is warmed by underfloor heating.

There's no en-suite bathroom: a cloakroom has a basin, heated towel rail and WC, and a communal shower block is a short walk away. A microwave and fridge cover light meals, and a TV is provided. Guests bring their own cutlery, crockery, cooking equipment, towels and tea towels, while bed linen, fuel and power are included in the rent.

Outside, the private patio has furniture and a built-in barbecue for evenings in the open air. Parking is on site, and WiFi is available at an extra cost. The holiday park has a restaurant in the manor house, a bar, a shop and a children's playground, plus fresh baguettes, croissants and pains au chocolat that can be ordered for next-day delivery.

One well-behaved dog is welcome at Dinger Tor, as long as it isn't left unattended in the pod. Smoking is not permitted. The nearest shop is 3.1 miles away and the nearest pub 2.4 miles, with Tavistock itself a short drive further on.
