Ivy Tor

Ivy Tor is a single-storey pod set within Langstone Manor Holiday Park, close to Tavistock on the edge of Dartmoor National Park. Mature greenery and traditional hedging surround the pod, with a parking space close by. The wood-panelled, open-plan studio sleeps 2 around a double bed, an L-shaped sofa and a dining area, and is warmed by underfloor heating.

There's no en-suite bathroom: a cloakroom has a basin, heated towel rail and WC, and a communal shower block is a short walk away. A microwave and fridge cover simple meals, so guests bring their own cutlery, crockery, cooking equipment, towels and tea towels. Bed linen, fuel and power are included in the rent.

Outside, the patio has furniture and a built-in barbecue for dining beneath the sky. Parking is on site, and WiFi is available at an extra cost. The holiday park has a restaurant in the manor house, a bar, a shop and a children's playground, plus fresh baguettes, croissants and pains au chocolat that can be ordered for next-day delivery.

No pets are allowed at Ivy Tor and smoking is not permitted. The nearest shop is 3.1 miles away and the nearest pub 2.4 miles, with Tavistock itself a short drive further on.
