Thurlestone, 1 Island View

1 Island View is a recently renovated house in Thurlestone, with the village centre and its pub a walk downhill from the door. Inside, an open-plan kitchen, dining and sitting area leads into a conservatory where the dining table seats 6, and a large L-shaped sofa faces the Smart TV.

The house sleeps 6 across three bedrooms, two king-size rooms and a twin, each with USB sockets and fitted storage, served by two shower rooms, one upstairs and one downstairs. The kitchen has an electric oven, induction hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher and a Nespresso machine, and electric central heating runs on a WiFi-controlled thermostat.

A wood-burner in the sitting room comes with a small supply of logs. Outside, the enclosed garden has patio furniture and sun loungers, a terrace with a gas barbecue and a fire pit, plus an outside tap for rinsing off sandy wetsuits and bodyboards after the beach. Parking for two cars sits directly opposite the house.

This property does not accept pets, and smoking and vaping are not permitted. A travel cot and highchair are provided, and the South West Coast Path is a short walk away, with Thurlestone beach and South Milton Sands both within walking distance.
