Three Hares Cottage

Three Hares Cottage sits near Throwleigh, a few miles from Okehampton, and sleeps four across two king-size bedrooms. The layout is split-level: you enter on the first floor into a rustic kitchen and dining area with an oil Aga, then climb a short flight to the first bedroom with exposed beams. A separate staircase leads down to the lounge and up again to the second bedroom, which has its own wood burner and seating area.

The single shower room with WC serves both bedrooms, so this suits couples or a small group comfortable sharing one bathroom. The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher and washing machine alongside the Aga and electric hob, and a welcome pack is provided on arrival. The lounge has a second wood burner set in an inglenook, a Smart TV, and table football for evenings in.

Outside, a few steps down from the lounge lead to an enclosed seating area and small lawn, a practical spot for outdoor dining. Parking is available off-road for one small or medium car directly outside the property, with space for larger vehicles to the rear. A travel cot and highchair are supplied for families, though dogs cannot be accommodated at this property.

Okehampton, around seven miles away, has shops, supermarkets and a rail link to Exeter, while a pub is roughly 0.3 miles from the cottage. Internet access is available at the property. Arrival is from 4pm and departure before 10am.
