The Woodlands House Estate

The Woodlands House Estate is a double-fronted 1910 holiday home on the outskirts of Berrynarbor, set within its own acre of private land in the North Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The house sleeps 7 across four bedrooms and welcomes up to three well-behaved dogs aged six months or older, with a pet-sitting service available.

Upstairs, the four bedrooms include a super king-size room that converts to a twin on request, two further king-size rooms and a single. A bathroom has a roll-top bath and a shower over, and there are two separate WCs, one on the ground floor and one upstairs.

The open-plan living and dining room has a woodburning stove and an 85-inch TV with Netflix and Disney+, and the kitchen/diner is fitted with a kitchen island, an electric oven, gas hob, dishwasher and washing machine. Superfast WiFi and a Google Mini cover each room. A travel cot, highchair and stairgate are available, along with a baby grand piano and a selection of toys and lawn games.

Outside, a large garden has a lawn, patio, furniture and a barbecue, with private driveway parking for 3 cars. Binoculars or a telescope can be borrowed for the dark, unlit skies. Smoking is allowed only in outdoor areas, and the field beyond the garden is reserved for private use rather than guest access. Check-in falls on Fridays, Saturdays or Mondays, and a shop and pub in the village are about a mile away.
