The Rosedale Cottage

Set in the St Mary's area of Brixham, this three-bedroom cottage sleeps six and suits families or groups of friends. One private parking space sits at the cottage, with on-street parking adjacent subject to availability. Up to two dogs are welcome, though additional charges may apply. Arrival is from 16:00 and departure before 10:00.

The ground floor lounge has exposed beams and an exposed brickwork fireplace housing a wood burner, supplied with a first basket of logs. The dining room opposite combines original beams and an inglenook fireplace with a jukebox Bluetooth speaker for a contemporary contrast. A desk space beneath the stairs leads through to the large family bathroom, which includes a bath, separate shower cubicle and WC. An additional separate WC sits across the hall. The kitchen is equipped with an electric oven, induction hob, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, microwave and coffee machine, and a washing machine is kept in a utility cupboard. One ground-floor room has a restricted ceiling height, and an open-plan staircase leads to the first floor.

All three bedrooms are upstairs: one king-size with an en-suite, one further king-size and a twin room. A second additional separate WC completes the first floor. A highchair is available, and a Smart TV and Wi-Fi cover evenings in.

The tiered enclosed garden features mature planting, various seating areas, a hammock and a BBQ area suited to disposable BBQs, which are not provided. Far-reaching views form the backdrop. An EV charger is on site; contact the owners before arrival to arrange its use. A shop and pub are each around half a mile away, and Brixham Harbour with its daily fish market is roughly 1.5 miles distant.
